About this role
Role Overview
Analyze and implement tax parameterizations.
Analyze ICMS, ICMS-ST, Poverty Fund, IPI, PIS/COFINS, IR/CSLL, CBS, IBS, tax incentives and other matters related to tax parameterization, including ISSQN and federal withholdings.
Basic understanding of the filing of primary and ancillary tax obligations, such as GIA-ST and SPED Fiscal.
Analyze and implement tax agreements (convênios) and technical notes.
Identify and correct potential system errors.
Validate tax parameterizations in ERP systems (SAP ECC / S/4HANA) and other systems with tax impacts (Comply and audit systems).
Collect information and create and present reports and KPIs.
Support adaptation of current systems and implementation of new systems to comply with applicable legislation, including the Tax Reform.
Contribute to responses for state and municipal inspections/audits.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law or Accounting; technology-related courses are also accepted.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA tables (J1BTAX/TAXBRA) and the MM and SD modules.
Ability to interpret regulations and apply them to operational scenarios.
Intermediate/advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and familiarity with new technologies.
Desired: VBA and Power BI.
