Evaluate and price renewable, energy storage, and hybrid transactions
Support commercial structuring and contract negotiations by providing analytical insights on pricing, risk allocation, and key value drivers
Ensure transaction valuations are aligned with AES Clean Energy’s power market views
Develop, maintain, and enhance commercial and deal-level models
Implement model improvements and automation to reduce turnaround times
Partner with Risk Management to support internal model validation, risk quantification, and governance processes
Develop a strong understanding of commercial drivers, market dynamics, and regulatory factors impacting AES Clean Energy’s portfolio

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field
2–5 years of relevant experience in energy, renewables, power markets, or related analytical roles
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of U.S. power markets (PJM, CAISO, ERCOT preferred)
Hands‑on experience using at least one programming or analytical language (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, VBA)
Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders.
Master’s degree in a relevant technical or analytical discipline (preferred)
Experience with renewable asset revenue modeling and operating characteristics (preferred)
Experience with battery energy storage system (BESS) optimization or hybrid energy systems (preferred)
Familiarity with commercial deal processes, structured transactions, or ETRM systems (preferred)
