The Director, FSQR – Australia & SSEA provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, compliant, and consistently high-quality products
Ensure the release of safe, regulatory-compliant products that consistently meet customer and consumer specifications across all in-scope operations
Provide regional governance for food safety, quality assurance, laboratory operations, and regulatory compliance
Drive Right First Time, Every Time performance through standardized, best-practice FSQR systems and risk management frameworks
Strengthen preventive and in-process controls to reduce cost of non-conformance and improve first-pass quality
Identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement with a strong focus on in-process controls and defect prevention
Partner with Continuous Improvement (CI) and Operations teams to execute sustainable improvements that deliver measurable business value
Lead the development of a high-performance, Zero Harm quality culture
Set clear expectations, goals, and accountability for FSQR performance at all levels of the organization
Collaborate with MSC & Commercial teams to support short
and long-term strategic business plans
Requirements
Extensive leadership experience in Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory within complex manufacturing, trading, or supply chain environments
Proven ability to lead and influence across multi-site, multi-country operations
Strong expertise in FSQR systems, risk management, and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated success in driving cultural change and continuous improvement
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and change-management skills
