Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations in intermodal transport
Responsible for the efficient and timely truck dispatch from our intermodal HUBs in Germany
Act as the primary contact for customers, partners and carriers in daily operations
Monitor and manage transport processes — economical, reliable and service-oriented
Execute freight purchasing and sales to optimize vehicle load utilization
Work closely and coordinate with train planning, transport management and other internal interfaces
Requirements
Several years of experience in truck dispatch
A completed vocational qualification in the logistics field, e.g., as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk, or further training such as a dispatcher qualification is desirable
Good German and/or English skills, both written and spoken
Strong organizational skills and a solution-oriented approach to efficiently manage transport processes even under time pressure
Reliable and flexible working style to confidently respond to short-notice changes in daily operations
Team-oriented communication to ensure close and smooth collaboration with customers, partners and internal stakeholders
