Advising managers, employees and other persons responsible for occupational safety and accident prevention
Safety inspections of plant facilities, work procedures and technical equipment
Monitoring the implementation of occupational safety and accident prevention, including related walk-throughs/audits; reporting deficiencies and proposing corrective and preventive measures
Investigating and analyzing the causes of accidents
Promoting improvements to HSE processes to foster a safety culture within the company
Acting as HSE management system representative (DIN EN ISO 45001, DIN EN ISO 14001) with the associated responsibilities
Tracking laws, regulations and standards by maintaining the HSE legal register
Requirements
Degree in operational safety management, safety engineering, environmental engineering or a comparable field
Qualified Occupational Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit)
Auditor qualification desirable
Willingness to travel occasionally
Languages: German — business fluent; English — basic knowledge
