Manage the airport’s non-airline revenue program, from food and retail to passenger services
Negotiate, collaborate, and problem-solve with business partners
Administer leases, permits, easements, licenses, and operating agreements for non-airline revenue tenants
Prepare and evaluate RFPs and develop supporting business case analyses
Collaborate with stakeholders to review sales performance and operational data
Track tenant improvement projects including refurbishments and new locations
Administer Quality Assurance Program reviews and monitor service standards of compliance
Requirements
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in business administration, public administration, finance, marketing, or other related field of study
Five years of progressively responsible property management experience, at least two years of which involve retail or food & beverage management, commercial or industrial property management, and/or real estate development, preferably in an airport
Equivalent combination of training and experience.
Successful completion of a fingerprint-based background investigation, training, and testing required for employment and operation of Authority and San Diego County physical security, surveillance, radio and telecommunications equipment.
Additional documented certificate training such as Project Management Institute, American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE, CM), Airport Council International (USAP), PMP
Graduate degree in fields such as business administration, aviation management or similar preferred
