Provide on-site technical support for customers including diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and optimization of Standard Bots robots
Perform installations, commissioning, and system integration at customer facilities
Conduct preventive maintenance visits and safety inspections to ensure optimal robot performance
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues both on-site and remotely
Provide remote technical support via phone, email, and video conferencing when on-site visits are not required
Train customers on robot operation, programming, and basic troubleshooting procedures
Document all service activities — including ticket notes, parts usage, and resolution details — in our CRM system
Manage spare parts inventory and ensure proper tools and equipment are available for service calls
Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and contribute feedback for product improvements
Achieve field service KPIs for ticket resolution and first-time fix rates

2–4 years of hands-on experience in robotics, industrial automation, or electromechanical systems
Associate degree or higher in a technical field, engineering, mechatronics, or related discipline
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with proven field service experience
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel extensively (60–80% field time)
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and multimeters
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various manufacturing environments
Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities
Able to systematically analyze problems within defined procedures and best practices to achieve appropriate resolution
