About this role
Role Overview
Technical support and handling of after-sales services for passenger information systems
Identification and selection of suitable spare part components (e.g., power supplies, CPU boards, displays, electronic modules)
Analysis of fault patterns based on customer descriptions and assessment of possible causes
Coordination of repairs, replacement units and service deployments (remote or on-site)
Spare parts management including demand forecasting, disposition, pricing and maintenance of framework contract price lists
Preparation of quotations and orders as well as complete order processing in SAP (including delivery note, packing list, schedule tracking)
Documentation of complaints in JIRA Service Desk and structured data storage
Support with inventory, quality reviews and process optimizations
Maintaining customer contacts and occasional representation of the Head of After Sales Service.
Requirements
Completed commercial or technical training with strong technical understanding, ideally in the field of electronics, IT systems or mechatronics
Good knowledge of electronic components such as power supplies, CPU boards, displays, interface modules or comparable hardware
Experience in spare parts or service handling for technical products is an advantage
Knowledge of logistics and warehouse processes
Confident use of MS Office and SAP
Ability to analyze fault descriptions and draw technical conclusions
Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
Strong communication skills and negotiation confidence when dealing with customers
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
