Develop and enhance modern web applications with a focus on the frontend (React, Next.js)
Implement high-performance, SEO-optimized applications with Next.js and Vercel
Actively contribute to and evolve our headless commerce architecture
Integrate and work with: Storyblok (CMS), Algolia (Search), commercetools (commerce backend), fulfillment tools (logistics & order management), Akeneo (PIM)
Build consistent UI components using Ant Design and Iconify
Collaborate closely with backend engineering, product owners, and design
Ensure code quality through reviews, tests, and clean architecture
Actively shape technical decisions, standards, and best practices
Mentor and provide technical support to less experienced developers

Several years of experience as a fullstack or frontend developer, ideally in e-commerce
Strong knowledge of React and Next.js (including App Router, SSR, SSG)
Solid fullstack understanding with a clear focus on frontend architecture and UX
Experience with headless commerce setups and complex system landscapes
Practical experience connecting external systems (CMS, search, commerce, fulfillment) via APIs
Experience with Vercel and modern CI/CD deployment tools
Basic cloud knowledge, ideally with GCP
Confident working with component libraries and design systems
Understanding of: performance optimization in shop environments, SEO & accessibility, and scalable frontend architectures
Independent, structured working style and team-oriented mindset
Fluent German language skills, spoken and written (at least C1 CEFR)
Nice-to-have: experience with backend technologies (e.g. Node.js, API design, GraphQL/REST), experience with monitoring, analytics or A/B testing, experience with complex checkout, order or fulfillment processes, knowledge of commerce or OMS domains, experience with frontend monitoring, logging or error-tracking, experience with international shops / multi-language / multi-country setups, experience with commercetools / fulfillment tools
