Ensure the effective implementation and coordination of postal licensing frameworks, procedures, and regulatory guidelines across the sector
Monitor and assess postal service providers adherence to their licenses, terms, and conditions, and ensure alignment with the legal and regulatory framework
Recommend actions for non-compliance
Identify cases of non-compliance and recommend appropriate corrective actions in line with company's established Compliance Framework
Participate in discussions and collaborations with internal teams, postal service providers, government entities, and other relevant stakeholders to address regulatory issues and concerns
Handle internal and external queries related to postal licensing, offering timely responses and clarifications on complex regulatory matters
Perform regional and international comparisons of postal services to ensure alignment with best practices and continuously update knowledge of global trends in postal regulation
Amend and adapt postal licenses as required to accommodate changes in the regulatory environment and liaise with relevant stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field
A Master’s degree is a plus
Minimum 5 years of experience in postal regulation, licensing, compliance, or a related regulatory function
Strong understanding of postal regulations, licensing frameworks, and compliance standards
Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks governing postal service providers
Experience in conducting audits, compliance assessments, and reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant regulatory/compliance management tools
