Manage the Logistics Team, including full-time, leased employees and volunteers, across the continental United States.
Oversee tracking, procurement, and distribution of warehouse equipment and supplies nationwide.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and optimize inventory to minimize costs while meeting demand.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other logistics-related documents to ensure smooth operations and compliance with legal requirements.
Oversee and execute all aspects of fleet vehicle management.
Develop, train, and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for the logistics process.
Support the Emergency Operations Center during activations.
Assist with planning and budgeting according to the national operational tempo.
Work with strategic partners to develop, implement, and execute contracts and Gift-In-Kind donations.
Develop team performance goals and objectives, provide feedback on individual performance, and solicit feedback.
Requirements
5-7 years of relevant professional experience in the military, disaster response, emergency management, or first responder fields
Proven record of personnel management experience such as recruiting, managing, training, and developing employees and volunteers
Proficient in using technology tools and remote working to communicate and coordinate with a large network of TR staff members, Greyshirts (volunteers), and external stakeholders
Successful past performance in leading volunteers is highly desired
