Role Overview
- Lead the global software asset management architecture for Daimler Truck
- Design and own the architecture of enterprise SAM solutions including FNMS/Flexera
- Establish global license management frameworks: procurement mapping, allocation, and audit readiness
- Define and manage cross‑charging models for enterprise licenses
- Build and enforce SAM governance standards including audit controls and license lifecycle processes
- Set up and lead the global GSAM team including defining operating models and workflows
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, platform owners, procurement, finance, and global IT leadership
Requirements
- Industry certifications in SAM/ITAM (e.g., ISO 19770, Flexera Certification).
- Experience in large‑scale enterprise IT transformation.
- Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Ability to set up and scale global teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management—including IT owners, procurement, finance, vendor partners.
- Strong communication and documentation skills
