Responsibility for overall accounting and financial reporting under HGB (Handelsgesetzbuch/German Commercial Code)
Provide expert advice and support to our clients on all matters of VAT (value-added tax) law
Independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
Proactively communicate financial insights and recommendations to our clients
Implement and optimize financial processes and quickly adapt to new tools and systems
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders

Solid knowledge of the Handelsgesetzbuch (HGB/German Commercial Code) and a strong understanding of VAT law
Experience in accounting, complemented by strong communication skills
Ability to work independently of specific tools and to quickly adapt to new systems (e.g., DATEV, SAP, Navision/Dynamics)
Experience in the start-up environment and a proactive, solution-oriented working approach
