Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal Meltwater teams regarding outstanding invoices, payment status, account reconciliations, and customer payment/refund inquiries.
Ensure timely and accurate posting of customer payments.
Manage the Accounts receivable team in daily operations including cash application, refund, and others.
Coordinate with the Revenue, Sales Ops, and Tax teams to resolve client payment issues quickly and accurately.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing AR reports, reconciliations, and analyses.
Continuously evaluate AR processes and systems, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing AR team through coaching, feedback, and ongoing professional development.
Establish clear performance goals and monitor individual and team productivity to ensure targets are consistently met.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong understanding of AR processes, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite experience preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Experience working with ERP systems and AR management tools.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
