Role Overview
- Serve as the technical lead and reference for project and IT teams
- Work across the entire AI project lifecycle: ideation, experimentation, scaling, and industrialization
- Define and promote technical standards and AI best practices
- Provide AI technical expertise and challenge architecture and modeling decisions
- Select and oversee the use of LLMs (large language models)
- Ensure AI models meet performance, compliance, and security requirements
- Ensure the scalability, robustness, and interoperability of models
- Contribute to defining environmental key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Propose and supervise the implementation of technical and methodological improvements
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as an AI Tech Lead / Lead Data Engineer / Senior ML Engineer with a proven ability to manage complex technology projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of AI project processes (ideation, experimentation, industrialization) and AI development best practices (code organization, testing, versioning, deployment)
- Good understanding of compliance standards (AI ethics, the AI Act, GDPR, information security) and associated governance practices
- Significant experience designing and implementing AI architectures in production
- Proven expertise with generative AI models
- Deep knowledge of GPU infrastructure and performance optimization strategies
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Python and Java
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
