Manage the planning and execution of application technical services initiatives, including application patches and upgrades, environment refresh coordination across application landscapes, and technical risk mitigation.
Develop and manage project deliverables: project plans, schedules, resource plan, RAID logs, cutover plans, rollback plans, and status reporting.
Ensure project scope, schedule, resource plans, and budgets are clearly defined and tracked to completion.
Own the Applications Technical Services roadmap (12 month rolling plan), including sequencing, prioritization, and dependencies.
Partner with project & program managers across the application portfolio to manage dependencies and risks across project/program schedules, testing cycles, release calendars, maintenance windows, and blackout periods.
Partner closely with the infrastructure team (hosting, cloud, network, database, etc.) to ensure technical services changes are aligned to infrastructure constraints and schedules, environment activities are coordinated and executed smoothly, and that handoffs are clearly defined.
Facilitate regular project meetings and reporting (e.g., weekly team meetings, readiness reviews, cutover calls, and status reporting).
Drive consistent communication to key stakeholders for planned changes, risks, outages, and milestones.
Lead post-implementation reviews / lessons learned and drive improvements to planning and execution.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years project management experience in IT application environments
Experience managing application upgrades/patching, technical maintenance, and environment-related initiatives
Experience working closely with teams to coordinate shared environments
