Role Overview
- Respond to and resolve incidents related to disk subsystems, storage systems, SAN switches and associated assets, and any components that make up the Mainframe infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
- Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills.
- Experience administering and configuring backup solutions such as NetWorker, IBM Spectrum Protect, and Mainframe storage systems.
- Management of SMS, GRS, VSAM environments and disk controllers.
- Knowledge of the Data Domain System Manager storage solution.
- Knowledge of PPDM (PowerProtect Data Manager) backup solution.
- Knowledge of the Dell DPA (Data Protection Advisor) reporting solution.
- Knowledge of the IBM Spectrum Protect Operations Center.
