About this role
Role Overview
Define the long-term insights strategy, roadmap and measurement standards for the SBU; own the vision aligned to Walmart Connect’s business goals.
Partner directly with Sales leadership and senior supplier/agency executives—engage in C-suite level discussions and set the agenda for measurement and media effectiveness for the largest accounts.
Lead a multi-layered organization (Directors, G-PLs, analysts) within the SBU; define talent strategy, succession planning and build a culture of high performance, innovation and strategic thinking.
Oversee cross-functional alignment (Sales, Product, Marketing, Revenue Operations) to ensure analytics strategy is integrated with commercial and supplier priorities.
Ensure operational and delivery governance across the SBU—including scaling of automation, process standardization, governance, and measurement innovation.
Drive business results: monitor and report supplier growth, media ROI, capability maturity and team performance; ensure insight organization contributes to Walmart Connect’s growth.
Represent Media Insights externally—industry conferences, supplier forums, thought leadership on retail-media measurement and advertising effectiveness.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics or related field.
15+ years of experience in media measurement, digital marketing, retail-media networks or analytics leadership roles.
8+ years in leadership roles overseeing multi-layer teams in analytics or media measurement.
Deep expertise in measurement methodologies (media-mix modelling, multi-touch attribution, omni-channel measurement) and experience with senior brand/agency executive engagement.
Exceptional executive presence, communication and stakeholder-influence skills.
Cluster analysis techniques, simulation, inferential statistics, neural networks, or data mining techniques.
Master’s degree (MBA, Marketing Science, Business Analytics) is preferred.
