About this role
Role Overview
Lead the development of methods of capturing and storing competitive information
Deliver timely, relevant, and actionable insights to support decision-making across strategy, research, and development teams
Develop and maintain effective communication vehicles to share competitive insights with internal stakeholders
Ensure timely and relevant updates on competitive trends through reports, dashboards, and presentations
Conduct and/or manage primary and secondary research to gather data on competitors and market trends
Transform raw data into actionable intelligence
Evaluate competitors' strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT)
Collaborate with internal teams
Analyze collected data to derive implications and actionable recommendations
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
Partner with other research leaders and manage relationships with external vendors
Manage the budget for competitive intelligence activities
Requirements
Advanced degree in analytics, business, or a related field preferred (e.g., MBA)
7+ years of experience in related fields such as market research or business analytics
Experience in competitive or market intelligence, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
Strong ability to deliver presentations and insights to senior and mid-level leadership
Experience in strategy/management consulting and/or equity analysis
In-depth knowledge of healthcare or pharmaceutical market research and competitive analysis methodologies
Advanced skills in market research, data collection, and analysis
Expertise in market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscapes
Proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid project management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships
