Responsible for supporting the existing network as well as architecting, planning, and implementing additions/improvements to ensure the security, stability, and growth of the EITaaS Azure network.
Provide solid network engineering and administration support of a blended Azure and Check Point based implementation and integrations with clear understanding of both Check Point’s CLI and Gaia interfaces as well as the Azure Portal, Azure CLI, and Azure PowerShell modules as it relates to all things networking in Azure.
Help support drafting and maintaining documentation for the EITaaS Cloud environment, such as network diagrams, assessments, implementation plans, and design documents.
Successfully deploy and implement new solutions within an Azure environment such as dual stack within Azure, DNS64 integration via F5 appliances, and NAT64 via CheckPoint gateways.
Provide network engineering support such as management of ACLs, network designs, IPv4/IPv6, and BGP analysis for both the internal EITaaS team and external DAF entities.
Support DevOps engineering projects such as network design and implementations for AKS.
Ensure network traffic only ingresses and egresses via approved communication paths.
Requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
IAT Level II certification
15+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience)
