Senior Director, Ethics & Compliance Counsel – LATAM

Role Overview

• Oversee compliance across the LATAM Operating Unit, integrating Coca-Cola’s global compliance programs into business operations, including anti-corruption, trade, anti-money laundering, sanctions, human rights, whistleblowing, investigations, and third-party due diligence.
• Serve as a key connector between global subject matter experts and regional teams to tailor compliance initiatives for LATAM while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and providing insights into regional priorities and risks.
• Proactively evaluate and mitigate compliance risks in areas such as government dealings, competition law, environmental law, human rights, and third-party oversight.
• Integrate compliance into business processes and decision-making, offering strategic counsel in alignment with complex regulatory and ethical considerations.
• Build partnerships with leaders across the business, HR, and legal functions to understand priorities, stay ahead of challenges, and maintain a proactive compliance posture.
• Work collaboratively to ensure compliance is embedded seamlessly into core business strategies.
• Own global and regional projects and perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) or international equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with a track record of managing risk from a commercial context, with the ability to strategically integrate compliance into business operations.
• Exceptional communication, drafting, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing capabilities.
• Able to translate complex labor and compliance laws into business-friendly guidance.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Comfortable working autonomously, managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and making informed decisions across diverse regulatory contexts.
