About this role
Role Overview
- Support the design and development of customised software solutions and applications within a defined framework.
- Update software packages using specific programming languages for telecom equipment to help stabilise and optimise customer networks.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G networks, escalating complex faults to senior colleagues when needed.
- Test software packages and applications in controlled environments, ensuring issues are identified and resolved before implementation.
- Support the configuration, integration, and optimisation of software parameters using telecom‑specific programming methods.
Requirements
- Comfortable communicating in written and spoken English; other widely used European languages are an advantage.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, databases, and applications used in mobile and fixed telecommunications.
- Fundamental knowledge of telecom technologies such as 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, IP, SDH, or DWDM.
- University degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Information Technology.
- Curious, proactive, and willing to learn in a dynamic, technical environment.
