Analyze, document, and translate business requirements into data and analytics specifications with a focus on Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and related Azure data services
Support data integration, transformation, and quality processes that enable underwriting, claims, pricing, and operational analytics across Commercial and Personal Insurance
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand underwriting and claims workflows, particularly within Automobile insurance
Collaborate with engineering teams to design, optimize, and validate data pipelines originating from sources such as Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire ClaimCenter
Leverage strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data issues, identify root causes, and recommend improvements spanning both business processes and technical data flows
Partner with cross-functional teams (data engineering, product owners, actuaries, underwriting, claims, etc.) to ensure solutions align with business needs, regulatory requirements, and best practices
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality, lineage, observability, and platform efficiency
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with Azure Databricks in an insurance data environment (Commercial or Personal)
Strong data-oriented analysis skills, including expertise with data profiling, data modeling, SQL, and root-cause analysis
Experience working with Automobile insurance data structures, workflows, or regulatory reporting (asset but strongly preferred)
Experience integrating or analyzing data generated by Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or Guidewire ClaimCenter
