About this role
Role Overview
- Conduct on-site sampling across various environmental media, e.g., water (groundwater, surface water, and drinking water) and solid samples of all kinds (e.g., waste, soil, reclaimed wood, and sediment)
- Serve as the primary contact for our customers regarding sampling-related questions
- Maintain and service sampling equipment and care for the sampling vehicle
- Document results in accordance with quality standards
Requirements
- Scientific or technical training, e.g., UTA (Environmental Technical Assistant), CTA (Chemical Technical Assistant), laboratory technician, wastewater specialist, waste management technician, mechanic (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
- Career changers with technical understanding and experience in technical tasks are also welcome
- Willingness to learn; we provide training to enable qualified performance of various sampling procedures
- Enjoyment of varied fieldwork (sometimes physically demanding and involving direct customer contact)
- Organized, reliable and able to work independently
- Driving license class B; ideally also BE or C1E
- Confident handling of common IT systems
- Willingness to travel within the local area
