Responsible for performing routine and non-routine pharmacy technician functions and activities related to the position.
Must be able to multi-task between multiple software programs and/or applications.
Handle multiple telecommunication lines and work efficiently in all Microsoft programs.
Exercise excellent communication skills to successfully interact with all levels of internal and external parties.
Intake Team: Responsible for pharmacy insurance data entry and verification of insurance benefits.
Provides exceptional service to patients, staff, insurance representatives, pharmaceutical representatives, vendors, and fellow employees.
Interacts in a professional manner to promote effective exchanges of information.
Adherence Team: Responsible for documenting and encouraging therapy adherence under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
Revenue Team: Responsible for ensuring that prescriptions are processed for eligible patients and properly billed to their benefit plan.
Dispensing & Distribution Team: Responsible for the dispensing of oral oncology medications under the supervision of the Dispensing Operations Pharmacist.
Requirements
Active Registered Pharmacy Technician License in State of Florida is required.
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education is required.
Previous experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in specialty, retail, mail order, or hospital pharmacy is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred.
Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) is preferred.
