Role Overview
- Development
- choose your track: Back-End: Drupal 10/11 setup and architecture, content modeling (Paragraphs, Layout Builder)
- Custom module development: clean, documented, maintainable
- Search API and Solr, including PDF indexing and autocomplete
- REST API integrations (third-party systems, appointment booking, AI interfaces)
- Webforms with complex calculation logic and CMS-manageable parameters
- Performance optimization, security (OWASP), CI/CD, Composer, Git
- Front-End: Drupal theming with Twig, component-based architecture
- Implementation of designs into accessible, high-performance Drupal templates (WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Integration of design systems and pattern libraries
- JavaScript, CSS/SASS, front-end layer performance optimization
- Close collaboration with backend development and UX/design
- Full-Stack: combination of the above tasks depending on project requirements
- Participation in agile sprint teams
- Code reviews and technical documentation according to agency standards
- WCAG 2.1 AA, GDPR, Swiss DSG/nDSG, OWASP where relevant
Requirements
- German at native level
- Minimum 5 years of Drupal experience in the chosen track (Back-End, Front-End or Full-Stack), in a digital agency or comparable environment
- Active core competency in Drupal 10/11
- not just legacy experience
- Demonstrable qualification by at least one of the following: an Acquia certification matching the track (Back End Specialist, Front End Specialist or Certified Developer), OR an active Drupal.org profile with verifiable contributions to Drupal 10/11 modules or core, OR a public code portfolio (GitHub/GitLab) with Drupal examples from the last 2 years
- Project experience in the public sector or with institutions
