Sales Director, Preservation & Nutrition

Role Overview

• Define and execute Corbion’s commercial strategy in EMEA, with a focus on Preservation
• Support the tactical plan for Human Nutrition and Pharma
• Own and deliver the sales budget for Preservation, with clear accountability for net sales growth and value creation
• Drive a robust commercial pipeline, ensuring strong project flow and disciplined execution across the region
• Optimize portfolio mix, pricing strategies, and logistics models to strengthen competitiveness and profitability
• Lead and develop a multinational team of sales leaders
• Partner closely with the Distribution team to design and execute an effective EMEA distribution strategy for Preservation
• Build strong, trust‑based relationships with key strategic accounts
• Act as a senior ambassador for Corbion at industry events, conferences, and trade shows

Requirements

• Degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, or a comparable scientific discipline
• 15+ years of international B2B commercial leadership experience in food ingredients or related industries
• Deep experience and strong affinity with the food preservation market
• Proven track record in driving growth through customer‑centric, sustainability‑driven value propositions
• Strong commercial drive with an established European food industry network
• Strategic thinker who can translate vision into practical execution
• Inspirational people leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable operating in a complex, international, matrix environment
