Reporting to the Engineering Operations Manager
Champion process improvements and participate in lessons learned with a view to continuous improvement.
Establish and maintain Systems Engineering processes across our Space and Materials projects and programmes
Extend and maintain the Requirements Management System across our Space and Materials projects and programmes
Define and implement Systems Engineering Management plans for the complete lifecycle of our programmes
Enforce best practice across the Systems team and our Space and Materials projects and programmes through appropriate reviews and lessons learned.
Ensure Systems Engineering team resource allocations to projects are correct and effective
Lead and mentor Systems team members by providing coaching, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of accountability, responsibility, and continuous professional growth in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures.
Requirements
Broad experience of Systems Engineering principles covering the full life cycle of complex systems including requirements analysis, system design, integration, testing, and validation and operation.
A working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements (e.g. ECSS)
Experience in satellite systems design and lifecycle
Experience in implementing MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering) methodologies into active programmes.
Knowledge of semiconductor materials manufacturing processes is desirable.
At least 5 years of equivalent Systems Engineering management
Process improvement goal driven.
Enforcing standards and adherence to process/quality where required.
Communication skills to justify/explain technical aspects to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
