National Debt Relief is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer II to join their growing technology team. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of cloud-first systems infrastructure, primarily focusing on Microsoft Azure and AWS, while ensuring secure and scalable systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support cloud-first systems infrastructure in Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365
- Administer Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, identity lifecycle management, and access governance in a multi-tenant environment
- Support the transition from on-prem Active Directory to Entra-centric identity models
- Implement and maintain Azure compute, storage, backup, and monitoring services
- Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code and automation efforts using PowerShell, ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
- Partner with Network Engineering on secure hybrid connectivity and cloud networking integrations
- Support M365 services including Exchange Online, Intune, and endpoint management
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and systems remediation
- Document cloud standards, architectures, and operational procedures
- Mentor Systems Engineers and Administrators on cloud technologies and modern practices
- Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering-related discipline or equivalent experience
- 7 years of systems engineering experience with increasing cloud responsibility
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 required
- Strong experience with Microsoft identity platforms and cloud authentication models
- Experience managing Windows Server workloads in Azure
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience
- Familiarity with ITIL-aligned incident and change management processes
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Ability to balance operational responsibilities with project-based work
- Experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Computer competency and ability to work with a computer
- Prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
