Lead the negotiation and execution of complex commercial transactions, including payor contracts and vendor agreements, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
Monitor evolving regulatory requirements affecting commercial agreements to maintain ongoing compliance with healthcare laws.
Develop and own a commercial contracting playbook, including standard templates and fallback positions, driving organizational consistency and scalability.
Identify and mitigate legal risks within proposed business workflows, implementing strategies to protect company interests.
Manage external counsel for specialized matters, enabling cost-effective results that integrate with business objectives.
Provide practical, solution-oriented legal guidance to stakeholders on commercial legal decisions and activities
Partner with Legal Operations to drive efficiency and automation in contracting workflows and management systems.

Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
5+ years of relevant legal experience, with a strong focus on commercial and transactional work.
Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including health payor contracts, SaaS vendor contracts, and other vendor contracts.
Knowledge of the U.S. healthcare regulatory frameworks, including the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Physician Self-Referral Law (Stark), and the ability to apply them pragmatically to business objectives.
Experience with commercial, federal, and state payors.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
