Role Overview
- Support the Accounting and Finance teams
- Monitor and implement improvements to internal controls and departmental processes
- Participate in core accounting activities such as: fixed asset control, expenses, IFRS 16
- Prepare the department's manual journal entries
- Participate in the monthly close: manual entries, provisions, reclassifications, etc.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts
- Prepare various reports related to the activities performed
- Assist in gathering documentation for inspections, internal and external audits
- Control and execute the department's purchase requisitions
- Support activities migrated to the Service Center (both internal and external)
- Extract information and submit controls for internal audit
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, such as: issuing payment slips (boletos), extracting and uploading bank files
Requirements
- Knowledge of Excel
- Previous experience in the area (a plus)
- Student in the 2nd or 3rd year (up to the 5th semester) of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
