Support software development for USPS business requirements and application fixes
Develop and unit test to meet business requirements and application functionality
Participate in project planning process for programming needs
Assist or lead preparing programming specifications and developing coding logic
Design, code, test, and debug computer programs using available languages in ITK
Oversee USPS development standards and ensure systems compatibility
Follow data security procedures and identify potential security risks
Maintain and update computer programs, procedures, and systems
Utilize Agile methodologies to improve project delivery

Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in technology or software development preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited College/University preferred
Alternative Path: If the candidate does not possess a relevant four-year degree, an additional four years of relevant work experience will be required
Required Technical Skills: DevSecOps, Secure Coding practices, Solutions Development Framework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab)
Knowledge/experience with Agile Methodologies
Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices
Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc)
