Collaborate with engineers to apply design concepts into functional 2D and 3D CAD graphics and drafting outputs.
Develop moderately complex layouts and digital models for manufacturing, installation, and construction drawings, ensuring compliance with critical structural, piping, and mechanical clearances.
Prepare layouts, models, and drawings based on sketches or defined end results.
Analyze engineering drawings and models for manufacturability and constructability, checking for: Clear interpretation and proper illustration, Accurate dimensioning and tolerances aligned with cost and feasibility, Correct surface finishes, weld symbols, material specifications, and bill of materials.
Calculate dimensions, tolerances, slopes, weights, and other parameters using engineering formulas and data.
Interpret specifications and apply established drawing principles.
Occasionally perform on-site measurements, assist with walk-downs, and support installation activities.
Requirements
Technical or vocational qualification (Formación Profesional) in a relevant discipline, or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years in industrial plant design projects (experience in Nuclear industry projects is valued).
Advanced knowledge and professional experience with TEKLA Structures, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
Experience with AVEVA E3D, PDS, SmartPlant3D, and Revit.
EU citizenship or authorization to work in Spain.
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
