Role Overview
- Get to know clients—what matters to them and guide them every step of the way
- Proactively acquire new clients and bring in assets through a mix of strategic outreach and consistent community presence
- Leverage a variety of prospecting methods—including cold calling, attending and hosting events, and community engagement
- Use data and tech tools to analyze results and give smart advice
- Stay up to date with financial trends and best practices
- Support teammates and be part of a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3–5 years of experience in banking or financial services role preferred
- Successful completion of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) required prior to your start date
- Ready to get licensed as a Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) if you aren’t already
- Commitment to earn your Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in your first three years
- Up to 10 years of qualifying work experience or been a QAFP professional in good standing for a minimum of 5 years at the time of applying
