Role Overview
- Month-end close & operational accounting
- Own key close activities including bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Help continuously improve close timelines, controls, and documentation standards
- Support core Accounts Receivable processes including billing and customer collections support
- Understand the end-to-end O2C process and ensure accurate GAAP-compliant accounting
- Assist with revenue recognition under ASC 606
- Support and/or own Accounts Payable and timely processing of invoices and payments
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve workflows
- Assist with intercompany accounting and consolidations
- Contribute to cross-functional finance projects like budgets and forecasts
- Own portions of the PBC/audit request process,
- Improve documentation, reconciliations, and workflows to reduce audit friction
- Leverage AI tools to automate workpapers and reconciliations
- Identify inefficiencies and implement new solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA (or equivalent) in good standing
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Proficient in Excel and Google Suite products
