Role Overview
- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries, account analyses, and reconciliations
- Assist with monthly and year-end close processes
- Review and organize accounting data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile payroll and related accounts
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury functions
- Support internal audit activities
- Contribute to annual operating budget preparation and financial projections
- Respond to financial information requests and assist with audits
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Support the Accounting Manager with ad hoc financial tasks as needed
- Meet established processing and reporting deadlines
Requirements
- 4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes
- Strong analytical, numeracy, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment
- Must pass a background check
