Research, analyze, design, develop and coordinate division-based and enterprise applications in a database environment for the Division of Administration
Design relational databases including tables, queries, procedures and other database structures
Develop detailed system design, testing, implementation, documentation, and tracking plan using the Departments ISDM
Assume the lead role in information technology projects such as designing and developing applications and modification enhancements
Interface with the Information Technology staff and the Department’s data center (OATS) staff to ensure the application development plan is consistent with the Department’s Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
A high school diploma or its equivalent and seven (7) years of experience in computer systems analysis and/or computer programming
A high school diploma and completion of a one-year program of study from a vocational/technical school in an area of data processing (excluding data entry) can substitute for one year of the required experience
A bachelor's degree (4 years) from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of experience in computer systems analysis and/or computer programming
Knowledge of the principles that promote effective quality control
Skilled in managing projects.
Ability to define and analyze end user's needs, and design and develop a system to satisfy the needs in complex environments.
