Define software architecture: Responsible for defining the project's software architecture, selecting appropriate technologies and tools to ensure scalability, performance, and security of the product.
Document the architecture: Responsible for documenting and keeping current the architecture of existing systems and the reference architecture.
Lead the technical team: Lead the technical team, guiding members and ensuring they follow development best practices and standards.
Establish coding standards: Set coding standards to ensure consistency and quality of the code produced by the technical team.
Conduct code reviews: Review code produced by the technical team to ensure compliance with established coding standards and development best practices.
Identify and resolve technical issues: Identify and resolve technical problems that may arise during project development, acting as a mediator in technical conflicts.
Manage the implementation of technological resources: Manage the deployment of technology resources such as servers and databases to ensure the product is launched successfully.
Requirements
Experience and knowledge in Java
Experience with AWS
Knowledge and experience in developing Cloud Native applications
Knowledge and experience building with microservices
Experience with CI/CD tools
Degree and experience in strongly quantitative disciplines (computer science and engineering, statistics, physics, mathematics, genetics, econometrics, etc.) or demonstrable achievements in competitions relevant to the role
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities
Excellent communication skills and adaptability to challenges
Use of AI tools, such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and prompt engineering
Experience with Node.js
Experience working in startups and/or fintechs
