Design technical solutions for new requirements in a distributed systems landscape
Think end-to-end: API design and versioning, data and integration concepts, backward compatibility, resilience and performance patterns
Security by Design: threat modeling, secure interfaces (OAuth2/OIDC), secrets handling, OWASP best practices
Customer coordination: clarify requirements from a technical perspective, embed solutions into the customer's landscape, and address risks and trade-offs
Create architectural artifacts, maintain the technical roadmap and standards
Development: implement new features in Go
Ensure quality: code reviews, automated tests (unit/integration/contract), observability hooks
Incident analysis and workarounds during incidents; contribute to sustainable fixes
Operational responsibility: analyze logs/traces, resolve performance issues, and keep SLOs in view
Team enablement: mentoring and sparring for developers; close collaboration with mobile and DevOps colleagues

Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
5+ years of experience in backend development
Substantial practical experience with Go (or very strong experience in a comparable language and willingness to dive deep into Go)
Proven experience with microservices and distributed systems (APIs, eventing, resilience, consistency, idempotency)
Kubernetes and the container ecosystem (Docker, Helm), CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows
API design (REST/gRPC, OpenAPI), versioning, contract testing, error handling and rate limiting
Observability (logs, metrics, traces – e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana)
Solid security foundation (AuthN/AuthZ, OAuth2/OIDC, secret management, OWASP, secure defaults)
Strong data skills: SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and caching/queues/streams (e.g., Redis, Kafka)
Excellent communication skills in German (for customer coordination) and English
