Serve as a Test Engineer in all phases of testing in support of development, integration, fielding and operational support of various flight test instrumentation systems and shipboard systems.
Responsibilities will include:
Test, investigate failures, troubleshoot, and repair program unique circuit card assemblies.
Perform test activities including writing test procedures, test planning, test conduct and test reporting.
Troubleshoot and resolve test issues.
Document and monitor test results.
Analyze and select individual components and materials to meet system requirements.
Identify and interface with suppliers for components and materials.
Interface with the other engineering disciplines and cross functional teams to insure proper coordination of project, product, and system requirements.
Work with external business partners to document and maintain Coordinated Interface requirements and Shipyard Installation Test Program (SITP) requirements.
Work with other engineers to develop installation and checkout procedures for flight test instrumentation and shipboard systems.
Contribute to and present during customer reviews.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
4+ years of direct experience as a Test Engineer.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with various testing techniques.
Knowledge of quality standards and regulations.
Good troubleshooting skills.
Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and cabling diagrams.
