Role Overview
Safety-related consulting and support in accordance with § 6 of the German Occupational Health and Safety Act (Arbeitsschutzgesetz)
As Management Representative (m/f/d), you will independently handle topics related to Safety and Health at Work (SGA) with a focus on Occupational Safety and actively contribute to the ongoing development of the CRONIMET Group's Integrated Management System (IMS).
As a qualified Occupational Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit), you will support colleagues at the central site in Karlsruhe and at local branch offices on occupational safety matters.
Organization and conduct of regular Safety Committee (ASA) meetings and preparation of safety instructions and occupational safety concepts
You will competently carry out internal audits in the aforementioned areas and organize and accompany audits of the German CRONIMET companies conducted by external certification bodies.
You actively support the team in implementing and further developing management systems within the CRONIMET Holding Group.
Independent organization and execution of safety and workplace inspections
Reporting and cooperation with authorities and statutory accident insurance institutions (Berufsgenossenschaften) are also part of your responsibilities.
In addition, you will pass on your expertise through briefings and training sessions and contribute to various process and organizational projects.
Requirements
Completed degree in engineering (e.g., Safety Engineering, Safety Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Civil Engineering, or comparable technical disciplines)
At least one completed relevant vocational qualification (e.g., technician or master craftsman) combined with an additional qualification as a "Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit" (Occupational Safety Specialist) in accordance with § 4 DGUV V2 and § 7 ASiG
Solid, relevant professional experience in Safety and Health at Work (SGA) / occupational safety and, where applicable, quality management and environmental management
Ideally qualified as an Internal Auditor
Additional qualifications such as Waste Officer (Abfallbeauftragter) or Emissions Control Officer (Immissionsschutzbeauftragter) are welcome; basic knowledge of waste and environmental law is also desirable
Proficient in MS Office; experience with document management systems (DMS) is desirable
Good to very good English skills; knowledge of additional foreign languages is an advantage but not a requirement
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, a structured, responsible and quality-conscious working style, a team-oriented approach, and flexibility
Willingness to travel within Germany (approx. 20% travel) and, on rare occasions, within the EU
