Responsible for managing the division’s commercial and financial KPIs and independently overseeing ongoing performance and results controlling
Close collaboration with divisional management and the executive board, as well as with heads of business units and their project teams; serve as the link to the corporate Controlling and Accounting departments and to Pole Management
Preparation and alignment of monthly, quarterly and annual reports, monthly and quarterly forecasts and reporting, quarterly presentations, as well as independent annual budget planning and continuous variance analysis in cooperation with operational management and corporate departments
First point of contact for all commercial queries from operational staff
Leadership and development of the commercial/finance personnel
Continuous development and optimization of commercial processes
Support in preparing the annual financial statements; participation in special projects to continuously improve company processes and to realize earnings potential within the group; involvement in integration tasks related to M&A special projects
Requirements
Degree in business administration or comparable practical training with several years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally in a company operating in the contracting/trades sector
Knowledge of VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) and experience with project-related commercial processes
Entrepreneurial mindset and strong understanding of controlling responsibilities, including confident handling of corporate planning and target/actual analyses
Good command of English and excellent Excel skills; experience with SAP is preferred
