Effectively manage month end close processes and monthly reporting
Record and review accounting entries according to Fortum requirements and procedures
Complete year-end closing processes and reports
Reconciliation of accounts and other accounting data
Provide support for less experienced team members with all processes in scope
Liaise with multiple internal finance teams and clients
Resolve internal and external audits queries
Ensure completeness and accuracy and timeliness process delivery
Maintain desktop procedures up-to-date to ensure compliance with process changes, current legislation and company policy
Participate actively in projects initiatives
Identify opportunities for continuous improvements and work on the implementation
Build trust and understanding through communication, inclusion, and transparency within RTR team and with other internal stakeholders
Requirements
University degree in Accounting, Finance or other related studies, ACCA or other accounting qualifications would be an advantage
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting processes, General Ledger, RTR, or other core finance process, within SSC environment as an advantage
Practical knowledge in the area of global accounting standards and understanding connected processes
Ability to effectively communicate across the business with strong English oral and written skills
Strong financial analysis experience and Excel skills
High attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong organizational, problem solving and continuous improvement mindset
Working knowledge of MS Office applications, Excel in particular is a must, Oracle would be an advantage
Ability to work independently and in a team depending on the business needs
Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High Integrity team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with others and promote positive working relationships across the organization.
