The Operations Manager plans, organizes and monitors transport services related to waste management activities (collection, transfer, recovery/valorization) and truck rental with drivers.
Ensure service quality, operational profitability and compliance with applicable regulations.
Plan and coordinate drivers' routes and assignments according to customer needs and the operational constraints of the business.
Serve as the interface between drivers, customers and internal departments (workshop/maintenance, billing, sales).
Optimize human and material resources to ensure the profitability and responsiveness of operations.
Monitor the proper execution of services (collections, deliveries, rotations) and intervene in case of unexpected events.
Ensure compliance with safety rules, transport regulations (driving times, loads, documentation, etc.) and environmental standards.
Check trip sheets, delivery notes and route reports.
Contribute to monitoring operational performance indicators and follow up on profitability studies.
Conduct annual and professional performance reviews for drivers.
Perform site visits and assessments and attend protocol meetings at clients' requests.

Higher education degree (equivalent to Bac +2 to Bac +3) in Transport, Logistics or equivalent.
Significant experience (minimum 2 to 5 years) as a transport operations manager, ideally in waste management or construction (BTP).
Proficiency with IT tools (TMS, Excel, geolocation software, etc.).
Knowledge of road transport and waste-related regulations.
Ability to manage priorities, handle unexpected events and work as part of a team.
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
