Advise our clients in the energy sector (grid operators / energy suppliers / power producers) across the entire project lifecycle
Design ICT-supported systems to address current and future challenges (e.g. Smart Metering/Grid, energy data platforms, integration of decentralized energy systems, communications solutions)
Prepare requirement specifications (functional and technical requirements) and support tenders for clients from the planning phase through contract award
Support implementation oversight, e.g. evaluate technical concepts, develop system architectures, support specification phases and propose alternative solutions
Analyze national and international regulations and industry standards in the energy sector from a technical and process perspective and derive related challenges
Actively work on future topics in the energy field and participate in project acquisition
Requirements
Completed technical university degree (university or university of applied sciences), preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (focus on energy and automation) or Energy Engineering
Several years’ experience in independently designing/planning ICT-supported systems in the energy sector with a focus on functional and technical requirements, and in subsequent technical project execution with contracted vendors
Technical and organizational understanding of the liberalized electricity market in Austria and the impact of new legislation (e.g. ElWG) on market participants
Professional demeanour, analytical approach and a "big-picture" perspective
Independent and proactive working style with goal

Excellent communication skills and business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
