About this role
Role Overview
Lead a portfolio of moderate to high complexity vendors across Human Resources.
Collaborate with HR Business partners in the area of Talent Acquisition and Talent Management.
Hold external vendors accountable for delivering solutions that align with Fidelity’s strategy.
Manage vendor risk and performance, providing oversight to a portfolio of vendors.
Support development of tools and processes to effectively collect, analyze and report vendor metrics.
Lead a team of Vendor Managers, providing direction, coaching, and career development opportunities.
Measure and report vendor performance relative to contracted expectations, including Service Level Agreements.
Seek out and implement cost reduction opportunities across your portfolio.
Support funding processes, including purchase order creation & tracking, reporting and associated governance reviews.
Focus on vendor risk, including proactive risk mitigation measures and collaborating with enterprise risk functions.
Develop full understanding of active contracts and ensure adherence to contract terms.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent (and relevant) experience.
7-10 years of Human Resources, Vendor Management, Procurement or Risk related experience preferred.
Extensive experience interacting with all levels within an organization.
Excellent communicator with strong facilitation, influencing and negotiating skills, with strong executive presence.
Skilled in relationship management and can effectively consult and liaison between business partners and suppliers.
Ability to independently drive and lead all aspects of complex vendor engagements with minimal oversight.
Exceptionally organized and can lead multiple projects or activities simultaneously and deliver results in an accurate and timely manner.
Ability to cultivate and improve partnerships with peers, leaders, vendors and other partners.
