Oversee all phases of physical community management for our campus
Supervise maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping staff
Ensure the property remains safe, beautiful, and fully operational
Conduct daily rounds to identify maintenance and housekeeping concerns
Develop and manage preventative maintenance systems and inspection schedules
Review and code invoices, approve expenditures, and prepare departmental budgets
Negotiate and oversee all building contracts including fire safety, HVAC, elevator service, landscaping, snow removal, telephone service, painting, and carpet replacement
Develop and implement OSHA-compliant safety programs
Requirements
Four-year degree in related field and/or minimum six years of experience in multifamily housing, hospital, nursing home, or senior living
Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
Experience supervising staff with demonstrated leadership ability
Strong knowledge of physical plant systems including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, interior/exterior maintenance, and fire safety systems
Proven ability to negotiate vendor contracts and manage service agreements
Ability to develop and adhere to operating budgets
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Experience with maintenance software systems and computer programs
Ability to effectively relate to an aging population
