About this role
Role Overview
- supporting clients, sales team and design team members to create SolidWorks models, drawings, and BOMs for the quotation and manufacturing of fixtures.
- mentor and coach other Design Engineers on the creation of all computer engineered specifications and instruction manuals for prototype and production purposes
- oversee the work with vendor partners to understand fabrication techniques in different materials to create accurate drawings and models.
Requirements
- a Bachelor's Degree in CAD/Engineering, Mechanical Design, or Engineering
- 6+ years’ experience in SolidWorks, CAD software
- Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Creative Suites
- experience working for a related industry, preferably print or retail.
