Role Overview
- Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical).
- Assesses and recommends equipment improvements to enhance availability, capacity, and performance.
- Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance).
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment issues.
- Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and maintenance procedures.
- Provides customer service and support during field visits or dispatches.
- Coordinates workflow with the schedule/calendar.
- Manages all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks.
- Diagnoses faults or technical issues and determines appropriate solutions.
- Produces timely, detailed service reports.
- Documents processes.
- Operates vehicle safely and uses on-site automation systems.
- Follows all company-established procedures and protocols.
- Cooperates with the technical team and shares information across the organization.
- Understands customer requirements and makes appropriate recommendations/communications.
- Builds positive customer relationships.
Requirements
- Proven field service experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and maintain technical equipment.
- Proficiency in English.
- Native Portuguese speaker.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to variable schedules.
- Familiarity with tools and mobile applications.
- Technical diploma or certification.
