Physical Therapist Assistant

Role Overview

• Assisting staff Physical Therapists in accordance with the Ohio Physical Therapy Board laws and rules
• Provides patient treatment, patient/family instruction and assists in discharge planning
• Documents in the medical record and communicates with the multidisciplinary team
• Collaborates with the supervising physical therapist
• Acts as a clinical instructor for students and actively participates in department functions

Requirements

• Associate's Degree (Required)
• PTA
• Physical Therapist Assistant
• American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties
• Licensed by the State of Ohio
• Participation in student clinic rotations
• New graduates with excellent references and/or one year rehabilitation experience
